Leicester Square is best known to tourists for two things. Firstly it is the centre of London's cinemas, and secondly it has the kiosk that sells cut price, discount theatre tickets (warning they will not be selling smash hit tickets at cut prices - but there is a chalk board with today's deals on it)
The whole square is a pedestrian area, so you are safe from the ravages of London cars
